The gala dinner will be held in the 'Oude Vismijn' (English: Old Fish market) in the old city centre of Ghent.

The Old Fish Mine is one of the oldest markets in the Belgian city of Ghent. In 1689 she was given her current location on Sint-Veerleplein with her characteristic gatehouse in the open air. The river Lieve runs to the west of the Oude Vismijn and the river Leie to the south.

The gatehouse, erected in rococo style in 1689 and adorned with three images of sea gods was badly damaged by a fire in 1872. Only the statue of Neptune could be saved. The other images were replaced by new images of a man and a woman representing the river Schelde and the river Leie. The building was fitted with neo-gothic facades, in anticipation of the World Exhibition of 1913.

Please join us for the Gala dinner, an excellent occasion to enjoy good food, classic wines and old or new friends. The unique and beautiful ambient of the Old fish market will add to the magic of the night as the dishes are served and the jokes will flutter around while the background music plays. We are 100% sure this will be a night to remember!
