Stefan Dombrowski
Dr. Stefan C. Dombrowski is a licensed psychologist, professor of psychology and counseling, and author of five books and more that 135 peer-reviewed articles and chapters on counseling and psychological assessment. He has also published two articles in veterinary medicine in collaboration with his wife. In his clinical practice Dr. Dombrowski specializes in helping health professionals navigate burn out, stress, impatience, anxiety, and compassion fatigue. Professor Dombrowski earned his Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Georgia and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical psychology at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. For more than 25 years, Dr. Dombrowski has served as a professor and director within Rider University's graduate program in school psychology, where he has mentored numerous counseling and psychology students. Before entering the field of psychology, Dr. Dombrowski completed his undergraduate studies at William & Mary and earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut, reflecting an earlier career in finance. A longtime resident of South Jersey, he enjoys a full family life as a husband and father. Outside of his professional work, he finds joy in tennis, exercise, reading about history, and spending quality time with his family.
