Søren Boysen
“POCUS to LIVE; LIVE to POCUS!” What else is there to say?
Søren is a founding member and Education Chair of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound (VECCUS) working group, a co-lead on the VECCUS veterinary POCUS consensus statements, and a co-lead on the POCUS in CPR RECOVER project. He is extensively published, with over 150 scientific publications, and is a co-editor of two textbooks, in addition to being the recipient of numerous teaching and research excellence awards. He is an active ACVECC diplomate, a Full Professor of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Calgary, and also serves as the Director of POCUS for VEG.
His passion for POCUS is rivaled only by his love of EVECCS—this marks his 15th consecutive EVECCS Congress!
